The HUNTER Round & Soft Dog Collar – Cognac is a dressage dog collar from fine elk skin which will be an asset for any breed and size. Its comfortable and soft feel simply convinces the discerning owner.

Softness and warmth are the most outstanding attributes of this unique leather. Free ranging elks (Alces Alces) from Finnish forests are considered to be particularly healthy and energetic.

The dog collar has a round finish and leather caps. A round polyamide centre makes this collar particularly hard-wearing and robust so that it provides maximum durability. Made in Germany

The dog collar Round & Soft is particularly suitable for dogs with long fur since the round finishing protects the coat and prevents hair breakage.

To be able to enjoy the uniquely soft leather of this dog collar as long as possible we recommend alternative Hunter products for activities which require intensive use of lead and collar, such as hunting training, water exercises and playing with other dogs.

The very rare, high-quality elk leather from the forests of Scandinavia is probably one of the finest leathers in the world. It is rare because strict bag limits apply which mean that every year only a certain number of elks may be hunted. This ensures that the ecological balance in the Scandinavian forests is maintained. The controlled elk hunt only takes place at the beginning of the Arctic winter when the elk skin is the strongest. Each skin is checked and selected by hand. Every elk leather product is unique due to the special natural structure of the leather.

Caring for your HUNTER products:
Elk leather is one of the finest leathers in the world. To keep it in good condition, avoid exposing the product to extreme moisture or dirt, as this can damage the leather. Elk leather is pre-treated with oil, and only needs a small amount of maintenance, ideally using a leather oil. If the leather is wet, do not dry it quickly, e.g. on a radiator – instead, pat it down with a towel and allow it to dry slowly. Ensure that no moisture remains on the metal parts of the product.
