The mesh material is made from a rip-resistant synthetic fibre. As the bed is raised off the ground and the mesh is breathable, it means that there is no build up of moisture under the bed, This helps to deter dust mites and mould, making the bed ideal for dogs with allergies. The mesh can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or machine washed at 30°C.
