Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received them
- Proof of purchase is required (order number or receipt)
- Certain items are non-returnable (see below)
Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following products:
- Bird Food & Supplements
- Bird Snacks & Crackers
- Cat Litter
- Cat Supplements & Specialty Food
- Opened or used care & grooming products
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:

- Provide your order details and reason for return/exchange
- Receive return authorization and shipping instructions
- Package your item securely in the original packaging
- Ship the item back to our San Diego facility
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3-5 business days), we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- Refund method: Your refund will be processed to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Processing time: Credit card refunds take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement. PayPal refunds are typically processed within 24 hours.
- Shipping costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange items for a different size, color, or product of equal value. Simply follow the return process above and indicate you’d like an exchange. We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label if needed.
